Next, work out how you want to place the decals on the wall. The easiest way to achieve this is to cut your sheet of wall stickers into their individual pieces - you can do it roughly, as once you've determined where you want them you'll peel the stickers from their backing.
A simple way to work out where the decals should go is to use masking tape to set the pieces. This way you can get a concept of a final design (stand back once or twice and consider it from a distance to make certain you're happy!) prior to starting sticking it in position.

It's important to keep in mind that some brands of wall stickers may not be reusable, which means if you stick them somewhere and choose you don't like it then (while you can remove it) you will not be able to put it some place else. When you've got a great placement determined, start sticking! Work from one end of your design to the other, and thoroughly stick each piece using a smoothing tool such as a piece of card or plastic. Be sure you smooth it in the one direction and step back frequently to be sure you're still satisfied with the design.
